Information for Stall Holders

Woodcote Fete is a vibrant and popular community event.  The village comes together for the afternoon, often with friends and extended family staying to eat, drink, play games, shop and join in the Fete fun.  Held on the village green in the centre of the Woodcote, it is a free event for people to attend and we advertise it widely on social media, local village magazines, etc.

To ensure a successful event we encourage a variety of stalls

• We welcome interest from commercial stalls.  Do get in touch if you are interested, by clicking the link, and we will advise on the pitch fee.  Please note we have limited pitches available for commercial stalls.  

• Charity and community stalls are strongly encouraged and very welcome.  It is a great opportunity to fund raise for their cause.  Although we do not charge a pitch fee for these stalls, in some instances we may suggest a donation.

• All successful stall holders will be asked to fill out a risk assessment form and provide relevant insurance documentation.  Invoices are sent out by the village hall and payment is required prior to the event, unless alternative payment conditions have been agreed with the Fete team.

• On the day, stall holders will be able to access the green from 9.00 am and will be directed to their pitch.  No vehicle access onto or off the green after 11:30 am.  All stalls are to be set up and ready for the public by 12 noon.

• We aim to put together a well balanced, good quality event for the enjoyment of all and the success of traders and fundraisers.  Woodcote Fete select stands based upon suitability and reserve the right to decline booking requests.

• All profits from the Fete go towards the improvement and maintenance of the village hall (Registered charity no. 304393).
